Who we are

A lepton is an elementary particle. The electron is the best-known one. We chose the name as a reminder that large things are made of small parts, and each part deserves attention.

The framework on the Approach page is the one the company applies to the digital assets it holds, if any: one asset class among several, in proportion, within written limits, checked on a calendar. The name is the reminder of that: a lepton is a small particle, and large things are made of small parts.

Regulatory status

The licence is held by the company, not by the brand. The company's entry can be checked in the Financial Institutions Directory published by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

What the licence requires

Under its licence the company is subject to the rules of the Monetary Authority of Singapore on conduct of business, risk management, compliance, record keeping, fit and proper persons and regular reporting. Those duties sit with the company and its board, and they do not depend on the size of anything the company holds.

The company's internal policies are not published. What the framework asks of any holder of digital assets, and how it is governed, is set out on the Approach page.

People

This website does not name individual officers. The company's chief executive officer is the one recorded in the Financial Institutions Directory of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
